Spring Break Trips
ATC offers students in grades 10-12 the opportunity to go on educational Spring Break trips.
The trip destinations are offered each year, based on the vote of ATC's Student Council. ATC Student Council also votes on the itinerary for the trips. All trips include some free time for students to choose activities in small groups.
Students and their families can begin saving for a Spring Break trip in advance so that the financial costs are managable in the student's high school years.
About the Tour Company
We use Education First's "Explore America" tours or another similar educational tour company. Based on extensive research and the experience of two different trips, EF Explore America has provided ATC with the very best in both quality of program and cost-effectiveness. Costs and Funding
The tour cost includes: airfare (if applicable), lodging, all meals, all admission tickets, charter bus service, a licensed tour guide, a hotel security guard designated for only our students, and trip backpacks. The Spring Break trips range in cost from $1500 to $2500. It is highly recommended that students save up for their own trip through summer jobs and support from relatives. Any student who wants to organize a fundraiser will receive guidance from ATC teachers and staff. At registration for the 2015-2016 school year, there will be a room for students and families to visit to get information about the cost and funding for Spring Break trips. The tour company, EF Explore America, offers a "Giving Page" for participants. Tips on how to use it can be found on this blog post: http://blog.efexploreamerica.com/2013/12/top-5-tips-on-raising-money-usi...
