National History Day

Each year, ATC students participate in National History Day.  Students create history projects and they are judged at a competition, similar to the format of a science fair.  The competition occurs in mid-March and students who want to create an entry must contact Mr. Seyfried by the end of November.

Go to the National History Day website to see samples of student projects.  The site is:  www.nhd.org

ATC supports the following NHD projects:

Spring Break Trips

ATC offers students in grades 10-12 the opportunity to go on educational Spring Break trips.

The trip destinations are offered each year, based on the vote of ATC's Student Council.   ATC Student Council also votes on the itinerary for the trips.  All trips include some free time for students to choose activities in small groups.

Students and their families can begin saving for a Spring Break trip in advance so that the financial costs are managable in the student's high school years.
