Work with the principal and give advice, consistent with state and school district rules and policies related to instructional issues and curricula and on the public school's proposed and actual budgets. The council also works to create ways to involve parents in the school and provide input on district, school and community involvement plans. This council is in compliance with New Mexico State law.
Principal Lumley's council consists of an equal number of parents and teachers.
