Mission
The Parent, Teacher, Student Coalition exists for the purpose of supporting ATC. The PTSC encourages and promotes parent, teacher and student involvement in our school through membership.
Participation: Parent, Teacher and Student Involvement
ATC depends on the support of parents, teachers and students as a public charter school. It is only partially supported by public school funds. The campus is the property of ATC, purchased through fundraising and bonding by the ATC Foundation. The Foundation is responsible for maintaining and expanding the campus to meet students' educational needs. The Foundation and the ATC Charter require parents' support and participation. The PTSC is the primary mechanism for parent, teacher and student participation and support.
Structure
The monthly meetings of the PTSC, which are open to all parents, teachers, and students of ATC, are held on the first Wednesday of each month. The Executive Committee consists of officers by the parents, teachers and students attending the first General Meeting of the school year. The Executive Committee meets monthly, and meetings are announced with advance on this site. The PTSC Bylaws govern the PTSC and its Executive Committee.
