Course designed to parallel an introductory college level psychology course, AP Psychology courses introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals, expose students to each of the major sub-fields within psychology, and enable students to examine the methods psychologists use in their science and practice. This course is intended to prepare students for the optional Advanced Placement Exam in this subject and should follow the published College Board guidelines.
